FAQs

New to our studio? You’re in the right place!

Here you’ll find helpful info to make your first visit as smooth and comfortable as possible.

How do I find the studio?

Our studio is located in the Gärtnerhuus at Gellertstrasse 133 within the Schwarzpark itself. As you enter through the main doors, take the stairs to the first floor and follow the corridor until you see a little kitchen on your right. Walk straight through and you’ll find our studio labeled directly in front of you.
* Please note the stairs to our floor are rather steep and unfortunately there is no elevator

I'm new to yoga. Can I still join?

Absolutely - you can join at any time. Our classes are designed to be accessible to all levels unless otherwise stated. Our teachers offer variations and modifications so you can practice at your own pace. That said, take a look at the class descriptions to see which class may best suit your energy and physical abilities for the day.

What should I bring?
Wearing comfortable clothes you can move in is key. No shoes are needed – we practice barefoot.

A towel (optional and for your own comfort if you tend to sweat).
* We provide yoga mats and all other materials needed in class

Do you have changing / shower facilities?

Yes. There are shared toilet facilities and one shower room on the first floor as well as a mobile changing room section within our studio.

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking in advance to reserve your spot. You can sign up easily through our website under the schedule section. Walk-ins are welcome provided there is space.
We also operate a 5 person waitlist online - if a space opens up you will be notified by email and have 3 hours to confirm your spot (otherwise it goes to the next person on the list).

What methods of payment can I use?

Online bookings can be made by credit / debit card, apple pay or google pay.
For walk-ins we currently only accept payments made by cash or Twint.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, especially if it’s your first visit. This gives you time to check in, get settled, and let your teacher know about any injuries or concerns. Prior to your first class you will also be asked to register (if you haven’t done so online) and sign a short health declaration form.

How do I cancel or reschedule a class?

You can manage your bookings through our website. We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel due to the limited spots available in the class – Cancellations made after this period can unfortunately not be refunded.

Do you offer memberships or class packages?

Yes! We have flexible pricing options including drop-ins and class packs. With the exception of our Kids Yoga classes, all our pricing follows a 3-tier sliding scale system to promote accessibility for everyone. Visit our Pricing & Plans page for details.

Schedule, changes and cancellations
We offer a regular schedule throughout the year. However, we kindly ask you to always check the booking platform to ensure your class is taking place. During holiday periods or due to illness we may need to change our schedule or cancel individual classes.
In the event of an exceptional class cancellation, all registered participants will be notified via their registered email.

Class language

We offer classes in German and English. Classes taught in German are marked with (DE) on the schedule.

* Final notes for your practice *
We ask you to please remember to turn off your phone’s sound and vibration during class time to avoid distractions to yourself, the teacher and other students.
Also, please remember that yoga is a practice free from comparison, competition, or performance. Practice with patience, perseverance, and compassion toward yourself – and above all, keep your sense of humor and joy!
